AEF Emblem will not be responsible for errors on verbal orders. Please fill out our quote request form or email us directly to place an order.
Orders can be cancelled but any orders in processing will be subject to costs incurred to date. Cancellation of any order must have factory approval.
Production times vary by product and are listed on each product page. Processing and production starts the day after receipt of the purchase order and artwork approval. Production time does not include weekends, holidays, or transit times.
Orders requiring faster than normal production times must have factory approval. Nominal charges will apply.
Products
Both hard and soft enamel pins are die-struck metal with colorfill. The only difference is that hard enamel pins are filled to the top of the metal line so that the surface of the pin is smooth. Soft enamel pins are underfilled so that the metal is raised and is not smooth to the touch.
Dies and tapes are used to create a repeatable design. The die and tape charges are service fees and payment for such fee does not constitute ownership. All dies and materials required to manufacture an order shall remain in the property of AEF Emblem. Custom dies will not be used for any other customer. In the event there are no reorders for a period of two years, we reserve the right to dispose of the dies.

A warning label will be applied to packaging for specified products when shipping to the state of California.

Artwork
Acceptable file formats are:
- Corel Draw (.cdr) w/all fonts converted to Curves
- Encapsulated Post Script for PC (.eps) w/all fonts converted to Outlines
- Adobe Illustrator (.ai) w/all fonts converted to Outlines
- Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) w/all fonts converted to Outlines
Digital proofs are sent once purchase orders are received. Artwork must be approved for production to begin.
We do not offer conceptual design services. However, if there is an existing piece of art you need tweaked, then we can help!
We can color match Pantone and PMS colors to enamel and thread colors. They will be matched as close as possible, but keep in mind that colors reproduce differently on different materials.
Yes, we can replicate an existing item. We’ll ask you to mail us the sample so we can have digital art of it created. An art charge may be incurred; this will be communicated prior to production.
Pricing
Less than minimum charges are incurred when fewer than the priced minimum quantities are ordered.
Our less than minimum fee is $60(V).
Factory quotes are valid for 45 days. The prices displayed on our website are baseline estimates and your order may incur additional costs based on complex designs, shipping, and material availability.
Packaging
All our products come polybagged. Metal products are bagged individually to prevent them from being scratched or damaged. Patches are bagged in groups of 50-250 depending on size.

Shipping
We ship out of our warehouse in Indianapolis, IN.
Our fast production Quikturn™ products ship from our facilities in North Carolina and California.
Shipping costs are dependent on the number of boxes and weight. We are experts at playing tetris and pack your order so that it minimizes your cost.
If you have a UPS or FedEx account you’d like to charge shipping to, let us know when you order.
For shipments that require two or more shipping locations, please add $8.75(V) per location.
